Graduate Research

Whether you're pursuing groundbreaking research in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, or mathematics we're committed to supporting your scholarly work with competitive funding opportunities.

Why Fund Your Research Through the College of Arts and Sciences?

Interdisciplinary Resources: Access funding across 10 departments and 6 research centers. Our graduate students secure support for diverse projects—from transnational history archives to molecular biology laboratories—all backed by R1 research infrastructure and dedicated faculty mentorship.

Investment in Impact: CAS graduate funding enables more than publications. Our students leverage financial support to pursue global fellowships, present at international conferences, conduct fieldwork, and develop community-engaged research that creates lasting impact.

"I've received a range of different financial support. I've been on a research grant for a couple semesters that really helped me focus on my research and hit the ground running when I first started."
